The man upstairs moved into our block surrounded by a host of seedy rumours. He's dirty. Dangerous. A disgraced university lecturer who seduced his students. He's also almost fifty years old... Thirty years older than me. They tell me I should stay away from him. And I do. Until one night, in total desperation, when I have nowhere else to turn.
